The included wall-mount bracket is the most flexible you will find, giving control over directing your sound to exactly the right place. The vertical and horizontal tilting mechanism gives you options in even the most demanding situations. Suitable for both residential and commercial installations, the AP490 comes with an included, built-in 70V transformer with taps at 2, 4, 8 and 16 watts. The IPX6 water-resistant rating is a protection standard for speakers and electronics. It means that the device is protected from water ingress when exposed to high-pressure water jets from all directions but not immersion in or under water. The 60W power handling allows for an SPL level of around 100dB at 10 feet from the speaker. They are often purchased with the OSD Forza 8" or 10" Outdoor Subwoofers. These speakers are perfect for patios, decks and overhangs and are safe from pool chemicals.
